Game is set in The Office and hinging on secretary jokes, gender-related anxieties and workplace stereotypes. "SHEnannigans" cards are limited to female players, while "Secretary" cards can only be held by men. Cards show young secretaries try to suck up to their bosses, while older secretaries bear the legend, "She can type... and the wife likes her." Declares on box front, "This is NOT a serious game!" Interesting portrait of an era, but dated and sexist by current standards. Based on / inspired by Shepherd Mead's 1952 book and the successful 1961 Broadway musical by the same name (the musical and boardgame share cover graphics). Board spaces include "Advertising Office," "Conference Room," "Coffee Break Area" and "Executive Suite." Includes board, markers (3 men, 3 women) cards (61 total, including 2 "Investigation" and 2 "Shake Up"), and dice.
